Fantasia has another hit single out titled, "Without Me."  The chorus rings, "Where Would You Be WIthout Me?" As it played over the radio this morning while taking my son to school, I found myself growing irritated by what seemed to be yet another song geared towards division between the genders. Having my child in the car with me keeps me in an analytical mode.

(A true story)

In prison I knew a guy they called Sugarfoot. He was gay...before prison. He was about 6'5" maybe 240 pounds, built like Herschel Walker. Black as sleep. Could and would fight like Joe Frazier. Because of these things, no one with sense bothered him, gay or not.

For the first time in my life I live in the suburbs. Having been here over a year I have not seen one house raided. NO ONE HAS ASKED ME FOR SOME SPARE CHANGE SINCE WE MOVED HERE.
