The Apology, by Muhjahid Qahhar

An apology and forgiveness are two important steps towards mental health and well being, but they don't always translate into reconciliation. To truly reconcile, the offender needs to do everything in their power to FIX WHAT WAS BROKEN.
I understood this as a child but didn't know how to articulate it. When another child would break something of mine, then apologize, it didn't fix my toy. I harbored resentment. The apologies became rituals, not solvents, and phoni...

Warnings, by Muhjahid Qahhar

Warnings come to us in many ways, often-times disguised as something non consequential. As a child I could run straight through a spider's web and think nothing of it. I would feel the web on my face, brush it off and keep it pushing. As an adult, if I feel a web on my face, I immediately search for a spider crawling on me. With knowledge and experience I've learned that where there is a web there is generally a spider.

Capitalism, the way it functions in American society, is as such: make money and become successful at all costs. And you can never make enough money. It is closely related to an objective way of thinking. Not objectivity in its traditional definition, but a malicious form of objectivity.

When they set out to build a railroad across the country, all they saw were dollar signs. All else was reduced to an object, like a br...

If you want to be good at something, you MUST practice. Practice requires repetition. Repetition obligates you to work.

I have always been fascinated with the gunfighters of the old west; the wild wild west. How does a man become comfortable with facing off with other men in a challenge that, if the slightest mistake is made, it could cost him his life? I mean, a lot of mistakes can be made when reaching for your gun, under the pressure of life and death. Maybe it's the str...

CHANCES ARE, each time we learn something new, something old STOPS MAKING SENSE COMPLETELY.

Think about that.

Consider how often we learn, then consider how much of what we practice in life today that will make no sense at all to us in the years to come. BUT SOMEHOW WE SPEAK WITH SUCH SURETY about things we couldn't possibly know...

........ just came out of Walmart. I just parked. The Asian guy and one of the white guys were carrying some type of gun that shoots what sounds like plastic pellets. As close as ten feet the guns look like authentic, chromed plated 9mms. I actually sunk down in my seat when I first spotted them, you know, with all the crazy shit going on in the world today. In the blink of an eye it can be YOUR TIME. After figuring out they were play guns, and I had to hear it shoot in order to figure that o...

I ENJOY GETTING OUT, trying new things, and experiencing different cultures. But when I pull out my wallet and look into the the eyes of a merchant I never see in my community unless they're selling me something, it just doesn't sit well with me. This sort of bartering can not be good for the future of our children. It will not build up our community.

If this was a race for survival, I would liken our spending to aiding our opponent, whose already ahead of us. Giving them bread and wat...

YOU look at your woman and see the world at her feet. I look at my woman and see someone who deserves far more than she will ever get.

We have actually repressed the whole idea of this being UNEXCEPTABLE...because the distractions put before us have become more important.

If you caught a 25 year prison term right now, innocent or guilty, it will come to you like a dream, you cannot write and vent to Mercedes...Benz that is. You can't call BMW. Lil Wayne a...

When you try and appeal to the moral conscience of people who have neither morals nor conscience, you are reduced to a state of water...flowing to the desert. You will never receive anything in return.

There are people in this world who only know how to take. And they walk around acting and looking like you and me.

HOW AND WHY are different inquiries. How a person does something is a reflection of that person's SKILL. Why they do it give you an idea about the PERSON.

If we consider these principles while making the acquaintance of strangers it can help prevent a lot of heartache.

What a person wears, drives, the area they live in, and their level of success can be as mjsleading as a woman wearing booty pops.

A Monday morning jewel: be careful in measuring the heart of a person based on...
